“After the early winter flood, I suspect a rat had been trapped in the closet where the sewer trap is located. After a couple of months of a strange ungodly smell, I decided to call my landlord to check if there was a trapped or dead rodent in the closet. They sent a handyman over he did a quick check and determined that there was no problem and as a precaution, he would throw some rat poison in the closet. The handyman didn't smell anything.
I found his assessment lacking.
The following week I call All National Termite & Pest Control. Nat, the exterminator came by very punctual and prepared for the task at hand, after one whiff of the room he determined that yes there was something dead in the closet and the sewer cap was also still open under the metal floor plates (I will contact my landlord to get that fixed). He immediately spotted the dead rat, bagged it, and removed it from my house without hesitation, putting down two large rat glue traps - just in case. A true professional. Thank you Nat my house is now cleaner and safer because of you.”
